Mental Health Resource

Mental Health Resource has been proudly supported by the Kenora Charitable Foundation since 2023 and our partnership is based on our shared values of working to support the mental wellbeing of young people in our community.

Overview

The Kenora Charitable Foundation currently fund a multi-year grant supporting our Reachout Youth project; weekly groups for 13–19 year olds in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, which provide young people with the opportunity to connect with others, explore how they are feeling, and receive information and tools to improve their emotional and mental wellbeing in a relaxed and informal space.

With Kenora Charitable Foundation funding, we have been able to successfully grow our project, so that we now support 20 young people every week. The funding has also enabled us to expand our schools’ provision, and since 2024, we now deliver weekly sessions in two local schools.

We work closely with The Kenora Charitable Foundation to assess the needs of young people, and how we can best meet those needs, and through our close working relationship, we have hugely benefited from their support and expertise.

Thank you to all at the Kenora Charitable Foundation for your continued support!
